Driving in floods and heavy rain
Please be careful when driving in floods and heavy rain. We have seen an increase of vehicles with water damage. The video clip is of a car that was recently taken through Redbournbury Mill ford. The damage to the engine was not repairable.

“Even drivers with local knowledge can get caught out in heavy downpours as even the most modern road surface is still susceptible to standing water. This creates a potential aquaplaning hazard as well as significantly reducing visibility.
